Ancient Civilizations The Maya, Aztec and Inca our ancient civilizations that have both similarities and differences. These three ancient civilizations grew maize. The Aztec and Inca conquered all tribes around them with the mighty ruler over all, while Maya governed themselves. Though they all had their differences, Maya lived in Mexico’s Yucatán peninsula and Central America. They thrived between 1000 B.C and 1542 A.D. They knew much about arithmetic and astronomy. While Aztec stayed in Mexico and lived through the 1400s. They were fierce warriors, but they were known for their sunstone calendar to see each day. The Inca too had their own accomplishments. They used irrigation to grow crops, which we still use today. The impact of their societies are still helpful today.

Solar System

This is my Solar System project. I worked really hard on the information and picture. I'm really proud of my work.

Mosaic Sun

My Mosiac is covered with hot colors.In the center is a red half a

sphere marble.Some shapes are big and some are triangles and some

are rectangles.The rises are wavey.There is no pattern all the colors

are in places where the same color can't touch.That is some facts 

about my Mosiac sun.

Food Chain

The large consumer eats the mouse eats the ant,then the fox eats the rabbit and the rabbit eats the bush.After that the snake eats the mouse finally the vole eats the grass.

Burlington Map

Today the cartographer visited the school. She talked to us for the maps. There are many uses for maps. They been used for 5000 years. Maps are used to us directions like a map of six flags. You probably wondering how maps are different that easy by there shapes, colors, pictures, and more things. Maps also needs a title a compass rose, a scale, and a map key. You may already know that maps also give you information not direction information but, you learn a things or two for the maps. Maps are also used for where your location is. That's what I learned about a cartographer. What did you learn today?
